Job Responsibilities

About the role:


We are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures, such as buildings, bridges, and towers, to ensure they are safe, stable, and able to withstand environmental and other stresses.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design structures, including buildings, bridges, and towers, to ensure they are safe, stable, and able to withstand environmental and other stresses.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing structures for safety, and make recommendations for repair or renovation.
  • Develop construction plans, including drawings and specifications, for new structures and renovation projects.
  • Coordinate with other professionals, such as architects, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure that design plans are followed and construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress of construction projects and ensure that work is being performed according to the design plans.
  • Provide technical advice and support to clients, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering techniques and technology, as well as industry regulations and standards.
  • Conduct research and development to improve the design and construction of structures.
  • Prepare cost estimates, bid proposals, and contracts for construction projects.
  • Participate in presentations and meetings with clients, contractors, and government agencies to discuss project progress and resolve any issues that arise.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required in many states.
Experience Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in structural engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) and engineering software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
